At RMDS, we make learning FUN! We provide a blend of high expectations, rigorous curriculum, and lots of collaboration with parents.
Our ASSEMBLIES are scheduled once a month on Friday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Assemblies are open to parents & siblings, community members, and other deaf education school programs. Presenters for assemblies include storytellers from the Deaf Community, professional performers, and visits from local museums and sports stars. Assemblies scheduled in May are as follows:
January 30, 2009-RMDS Welcomes Arbakdoole Art to lead a workshop. Students will be creating collages in the style of artist, Romare Bearden.
